ESTILO "MEMPHIS"

"MEMPHIS" STYLE

Memphis Group - is named to the Italian group of architecture and industrial design founded by Ettore Sottsass in 1981 with great influence throughout the 80s for its strong postmodernist style .... And today, still, a great inspiration in decoration.
Geometric shapes, kitsch and splash of colour classify this collective that you came across many times.

The week has flown by and in spite of all the ideas that teem in this head to post on the blog I always miss time to do so. During the weekend I'll continue to work, and of course some relaxing time for me and the family is absolutely needed. I wish you a wonderful weekend.

EL OASIS AZUL

BLUE OASIS

Despite its vibrant color this garden invites the most complete rest. I suppose one here, should feel "un-plugged" from any worldly event. Yves Saint Laurent should felt the same, since the Majorelle Garden was for him the place for resting during his last years and where he decided to rest forever when he died.I like that mix of cobalt blue with hints of turquoise and yellow, and the competition of vertical cactus, palms and the porch columns.

LOCURA ECLÉCTICA

ECLECTIC MADNESS

This home is definitely a good example of ECLECCTICISM = HARMONY. I totally believe that homes need to have something old to throw soul. This one, in the center of Mexico DF is full of the personality of its inhabitant, the interior designer Dirk Jan Kinet.
The blue walls of the livingroom have absolutely caught my eye. Kinet painted with his own hands, leaving a jagged effect and a pretty dragonflies and others printings
.
Thtat's it: imagination to power and ......and many walkings to the street
markets!

HORST: FOTOGRAFO DE ESTILO

HORST: PHOTOGRAPHER OF STYLE

No he he tenido todavía oportunidad de escuchar su sonido.

Something draws me to all four sides of this speaker. From the simplicity of the colors. From the comfort of their versatility.
Vifa, launched in spring 2014 the first wireless speaker combining its experience -the house exists since the 30's- with Scandinavian design. But that's not all...
I couldn't yet hear their sound... Vifa's philosophy is to create devices that produce the best possible sound. Its diecast one-piece aluminum frame contains six speaker drivers, encased in a durable mesh fabric produced by Kvadrat, one of the world leaders in the manufacture of textile designer who has designed a fabric of high quality wool to cover the components. It produced a manufacturing process respecting the environment, is extremely resistant to light and pilling.
As if that were not enough a Vifa app has exited that allows you to customize, control and generally make the best out of your speaker. Connectivity through WiFi, Bluetooth and analog inputs ensure that your audio system can be connected to almost any phone or computer. The speaker is also equipped with an intelligent energy management system that keeps the battery in perfect condition while the device is connected to a power source.
